Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles, one that was awarded the title "Grand Slam" at the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is another sport where she is a pro. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. Together with the Belgian tennis superstar she was a WTA 1000s winner at Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Only four teams from women's doubles to pull off. On 23 August 2021 she rose to second position on the list of world singles rankings her top ranking again in the month of January in 2023. In the same year, she was crowned at Melbourne before she went to the top spot worldwide for doubles. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season ended in the year 2019.
